Steve Webster - Research and Consultancy

Third sector

Working with charities, voluntary organisations, community groups, partnerships and communities

Dr Steve Webster is an independent researcher and consultant, with substantial experience gained particularly within the third sector.  Steve's consultancy work includes life coaching services for both individuals and organisations - which can be tailored to the particular needs of those working in the sector. Steve brings:

  • Over 20 years experience of working within the third sector
  • A voluntary-sector friendly approach
  • An understanding of the challenges faced by organisations
  • Sensitivity to the needs of organisations and groups

In tandem with his consultancy and life coaching work, Steve works (on a part-time basis) as East Midlands Regional ICT Champion for the third sector (see www.item3.org.uk for further information). This is one example of Steve's long involvement with the third sector – with over 20 years experience of working with voluntary and community organisations (VCOs). He has extensive experience of both working for third sector organisations and undertaking research/consultancy projects for the sector - at local, regional and national levels.

Steve is an NCVO approved consultant, with an entry in the 2009 Directory of NCVO Approved Consultants (NCVO is the National Council for Voluntary Organisations).  Steve also works with a number of associate consultants and, on some projects, with academic partners.
